Spindle Vibration Analysis

Excessive vibration leads to premature failure of key spindle components, leading to long, unscheduled down times and higher repair costs.

Every Centerline spindle repair job undergoes an incoming inspection that includes vibration analysis to assist in determining problem areas and to act as a record base for comparison against the final inspection report. After repairs are completed, the IRD Mechanalysis equipment is again used to measure the vibration of the repaired spindle at it's maximum rated speed to assure, and document that, optimum performance has been achieved. Vibration analysis reports are included in the final documentation for each spindle repair.

Centerline can also provide highly trained technicians to travel to your facility in order to perform vibration analyses on your spindles that are currently in service. Vibration analysis allows informed decisions to be made regarding the repair requirements, and an optimized repair and/or maintenance plan can be implemented to minimize downtime and maximize the spindle's productivity.
